Girish Kasaravalli's Dweepa was screened at Huns Talkies on December 21st. The film won a Golden Lotus for Best Film in the National Film Awards, 2002. Dweepa is a movie at multiple levels. On one level, it is about the problems caused by displacement. On another, it is about the way human beings react to a crisis.
